As I did some research on an organization called “Creativity for Peace”, it involves working with teenage girls from Israeli and Palestine, and assuring them they could be the next generation of female leaders and peacemakers in their country. The organization has established 8 successful camps, which brought a lot of the girls together in many different forms, such as religion and cultural boundaries. The reason for this memorandum would be to inform teenage girls and women about joining a wonderful organization, and ensure them about what they are capable of.

Besides the camps, the organization also provides girls with home country gatherings, young leader training, and a lot of different scholarships available for anyone who is interested. It is a non-profit organization that is supported by private foundations and individuals. Many of the former campers have stayed to participate in the young leaders program, and to further their leadership skills. Some even became the counselors of specific camps.

I would very much recommend this to anyone who would be interested not only because of the things that someone personally can learn from the experience, but because of many opportunities our future female leaders and peacemakers can have. They can learn to how to make their country a better place for themselves and for all the people around them.

I would like take this time to thank you all for your time and attention. Creativity for Peace organization is a great way to get involved and show the world what a female leader is all about. I look forward to seeing many teenage girls and women getting involved in such a wonderful organization. For further information visit http://www.creativityforpeace.com/index.html

When the word "Peace" comes to mind..

When I think about peace the first thing that comes to my mind is the war. It has been years since it started and it is still not over! That's ridiculous. I think about how fortunate us that live in the United States are because even though we have the war going on, we have been lucky enough for it not to have gotten out of hand yet. And hopefully it does not ever. High school comes to mind when I think about peace as well. There was so much drama and things going on around school that it made it hard for everyone to keep "peace" with each other. Nonsense or not, though, I am sure everyone enjoyed that bit of drama that went on in High School.
It also makes me wonder how it is in other countries that don't have peace or control over anything. I think if I sum this whole paragraph into one sentence, I would simply say that I am thankful in living in a place where there is peace and where most people actually respect each others beliefs.
